I serve as the voluntary chairman of the FSF's DotGNU steering committee (http://www.dotgnu.org/), and have served as the community's elected voting representative to the International Softswitch Consortium in the past.

I am the primary author and active maintainer of a number of GNU packages, including GNU Common C++, GNU ccScript, GNU ccRTP, and GNU Bayonne, as well as a designated GNU "speaker" (http://www.gnu.org/people/speakers.html).

I also am the CTO of OST (http://www.ostel.com/).
