| Born in 1975, Jan Kiska studied electrical engineering at the University of Hannover from 1996 until 2001, specializing in technical information science, and graduated as Dipl.-Ing. Since then he has been a PhD student at the institute for System Engineering, Real-Time Systems at the University of Hanover. His special interests are system programming from PCs to microcontrollers, communication protocols and system security. At the university he is working extensively with real-time Linux (RTAI) and is involved in the project management of RTnet, a real-time ethernet protocol stack for RTAI. 2003-05 |
