Jonathan McDowell is currently an owner and director of Black Cat Networks, a small UK ISP and lives in Norwich with his fiancee. Previous employment includes Nortel Networks, Cisco and Norwich Union. He is a Debian developer and has contributed to a number of Open Source projects, both as part of Black Cat (l2tpns, LinuxBIOS) and in his own time (SynCE, OpenEmbedded, Debian). Currently he seems to be specialising in collecting a large number of embedded devices that he plans to hack on but that often end up gathering dust. He dreams of a wireless ADSL router with native IPv6 support. 2006-05 |
