UKUUG Biographical details

Nigel Edwards works for Hewlett-Packard's Internet Security Solutions Division where he manages the Trusted Linux team. Prior to this he led HP's e-speak security team which developed a distributed PKI-based authentication and authorization engine, and tunneling protocol for secure firewall traversal.

Other work includes trusted operating systems, CORBA firewall traversal, distributed object technology for the web, web server technology and fault tolerance. Most of this work has been published in journals or presented at conferences. Nigel holds a PhD from the University of Bristol.
