Peter T. Breuer is Ramon & Cajal Research Professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he has been working for the last seven years. He was formerly at the Polytecnic University of Madrid, the Programming Research Group of the Computing Laboratory at the University of Oxford, and the Engineering Department of the University of Cambridge, in reverse order. He is the author of several drivers for the Linux kernel, which he first installed on his PC about ten years ago! He is a theoretical computer scientist with interests in programming language semantics, specification languages, formal methods, and hardware. He is also a software engineer, and a unix administrator. |
