IMPORTANT INFORMATION for those attending UKUUG EuroBSDCon - September 2009

You are receiving this email as you are attending the above event.
You will have already been sent an invoice which details everything you have
booked for.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY OUTSTANDING INVOICES MUST BE PAID BY 11th SEPTEMBER.
Below is some important information that you should find helpful.

TUTORIALS:
T1 - Kirk McKusick - 'An Introduction to FreeBSD Open-source Operating System
(Music Room)
T2 - Peter N.M. Hansteen - 'Building the Network you need with PF' (Linnett
Room)
T3 - Randall Stewart - 'SCTP workshop' (Games Room)
If you have booked a tutorial your badge will indicate either T1, T2 or T3.
badges and tutorial / workshop notes can be picked up from the UKUUG
registration desk on Friday morning from 09:15.
The tutorials will start at 09:45
Morning and afternoon breaks will be included and will be served in
the Balcony area - and lunch will be served in the Garden Restaurant.
All the tutorials are expected to finish at approx. 17:30
CONFERENCE:

Day 1 - Saturday 19th September - badges can be picked up from UKUUG
registration desk from 09:00.
Your badge will detail 'C' denoting your place at the Conference.
Morning and afternoon breaks (taken in the Balcony area) will be included as
will lunch (Garden Restaurant).
CONFERENCE DINNER:
The Dinner will be held on Saturday evening at:
Clare College, Old Court, Trinity Lane, Queens Road, Cambridge CB2 1TL -

Your badge will indicate 'CD' denoting your place at the Conference Dinner.

The Dinner will be held in the 'Great Hall'
(Directions: Enter Clare College via Iron Gates - walk down, then over
bridge, under arch and on the left is the Great Hall).
There will be a cash bar available from 6:45 p.m (and open throughout the
evening) - the Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.
At the time of writing the Dinner is FULLY BOOKED. If you have booked a
place and now found that you do not wish to attend please let me know.
It is important that you wear your badge at all times especially when
attending the Conference Dinner.

The delegates will be accommodated in Ann's Court and be given an
envelope containing a password and login instructions for wireless
internet access in their bedroom and a breakfast voucher on arrival.
Check in time is 2pm.
If you arrive before this time and your room is not ready there will be a
room available to leave your luggage.
Check out is 9.30am.
Breakfast is served in the Dining Hall from 8am - 8.45am.
The College has very limited parking behind Cripps Court and
delegates are asked to find street parking on Cranmer Road where possible.

Please report to the Porters lodge (near main entrance) to pick up your keys.
Check in time is from midday - A luggage store will be available for
delegates arriving before midday.
Check out is 9.30am.
Breakfast is served in the Garden Restaurant from 7:30 - 9.00 a.m.
Parking is available on the roads surrounding the College.
Free, wired internet access is available in all bedrooms.
