John spends every Saturday night building androids with Phil Robinson of Unified Technology. The ARM chipset seems like a good low power CPU for Android applications and whist looking for an OS to run on it Linux became the obvious choice. Since then Phil has run his typesetting buisness on Linux and John decided to try to start selling Linux installed instead of NT. It was only when he found the Cobalt Qube and Mintra became the first UK distributor that he gained the confidence to focus his buisness on free source based products. Following his success with Cobalt he is looking at other free source based products to distribute. John has has it his mission to make sure Androids use free source software.
