Philip Hazel
Exim
- the Executive Summary.
The author tells us a little bit about how this popular
replacement for sendmail works. His talk will cover the major aspects of Exim's
design, the way its processes interact, how it deals with local and remote addresses,
and how it handles temporary delivery problems. It will also cover some aspects
of Exim configuration, including spam blocking and control of relaying. More
about Exim at www.exim.org.
Philip Hazel
has been a systems programmer in the University of Cambridge Computing Service
for longer than he cares to admit. He has spent the last four years developing
Exim, and is still hard at it.
