GNOME's component model

This talk will cover Gnome 2.0 technologies, an in depth discussion of the gnome component model, VFS, printing architecture and development tools. Covering how to componentize your existing applications, rapid GNOME GUI development, configuration management and more.

Michael is a christian who enjoys working for HelixCode Inc. where he gets paid to develop various free Gnome components, particularly gnumeric. Prior to this he worked for Quantel gaining expertise in real time AV editing and playback achieved with high performance focused hardware / software solutions. He currently enjoys a 4th year at Cambridge UK studying Electrical and Information Science.
