The conference keynote address about recent interesting developments
in linux networking will be given by
Dave Miller from Red Hat, the kernel networking maintainer.
It will take place on Friday evening during the conference dinner.
Dinner tickets must be booked in advance through the office. Bookings via the UKUUG Secretariat have now closed - however it is still possible to attend the conference and tutorials by booking and paying actually at the UKUUG registration desk in Swansea. Registration desk will be situated in Digital Technium Atrium area - this is the same area that will have the table top exhibition. Linux 2005A wide cross-section of the Linux community will gather in Swansea, Wales for the annual UKUUG Linux Technical Conference. from Thursday 4th August - Sunday 7th August 2005. It's a great way to broaden your knowledge and keep up-to-date with what's happening in the world of linux. This low-cost event is for anyone with a serious interest in linux including systems administrators, linux professionals, developers and enthusiasts from companies and linux user groups throughout the UK and beyond. The Call for Papers for the conference is now available. We invite speakers on all types of Linux development to contribute on a variety of subjects, including kernel and desktop development, tools, applications, and networking.
Building upon previous years' events, this promises to be a very successful conference. There should be plenty of time for informal discussions. There will be table-top displays on Friday and Saturday. Previous conferences |
