Gonzalo Paniagua Javier - NovellMono and ASP.NETASP.NET is the Microsoft.NET branch for creating dynamic web applications. Thanks to the Mono project, an open source .NET implementation, it's possible to run ASP.NET pages on linux with a standalone server, under apache or hosting the ASP.NET runtime in your application. A quick tour on what is Mono, C# and XSP, along with a review of how ASP.NET pages looks like, portability tips and running applications will be shown in the talk. I will also be introducing ASP.NET Web Services, demoing the development tools available and some samples too. |
