Michael Meeks - NovellOpenOffice.org beyond 2.0...OpenOffice.org (OO.o) - the most powerful and viable, Free Software office suite, spearheading the standard OpenDocument file format. This talk will present a few short demos for those unfamiliar with its depth of features. We'll then look at some of the structure of the project, and the strains therein. I'll demonstrate a development iteration of this multi-million line project in tens of seconds to encourage you to get started hacking on it. Then we'll look at some of the hottest areas that are being worked on now, and some of the exciting new development & feature work that is in the latest builds. |
