What shape is the Internet becoming, despite maps of the internet from luminaries such as Tim Berners-Lee, it is a mixed picture at best. We make tools to solve the problems we see as the builders of the internet. The internet is distributed, tools like OAuth and OpenID are attempting to make it federated, but are we creating a partial solution?
