Location

The Winter Conference and Tutorial will be held at London University's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), WC1H 0XG -- this is between Malet Street and Russell Square.

Dates

The Conference will start at 14.00 on Wednesday, 13 February and finish around 13.00 on 14 February.

Accommodation

You can book the event on a residential or non-residential basis. An allocation of bedrooms has been secured at the Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way, London WC1H 0DG. All of the bedrooms in our allocation at the Royal National are en-suite and include full English Breakfast. The hotel is a short walk from SOAS.

Travel

Road: Route planning facilities are available from The AA and RAC.

Rail: Euston, St. Pancras and King's Cross mainline stations are all within walking distance. We have a separate rail page with travel details and offers.

Underground: The nearest underground stations for both SOAS and the hotel are Euston Sq. (Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City line), Russell Sq. (Piccadilly line), Warren Street (Victoria and Northern line), and Goodge St (Northern line).

Coach: The nearest coach station is Victoria, (then take theVictoria line Underground to Warren Street). Coach booking and timetable information can be obtained from National Express

Local transport: Bus and tube timetable information is available on 020 7222 1234, maps are available from Transport for London.

Parking: The Hotel has a car park. 24 hour parking fee is £16.00. There is very limited metered street parking near SOAS.
