The conference is being held at Queens' College, Cambridge, which is situated in Silver Street.
As in previous years the event will start after lunch on the first day (Monday, 13 December) and finish with lunch on the following day. We have found this format is most acceptable as it allows time for travel, etc.
The event has been organised as a residential Conference and will include a 3 course Conference Dinner. The Dinner will be held on the Monday evening in the Old Hall - this is the medieval Dining Hall built in 1449 and which has been used daily at Queens' for over 500 years.
- Travel
- Rail:
- Regular train services from London Liverpool Street or King's Cross take approx. 1 hour. Queens' College is a 5 minute taxi journey from the station. The University also has its own page with train details.
- Coach:
- Frequent services run from Cambridge to London and its major airports.
- Road:
- Cambridge is easily reached via road. From central London it takes approx. an hour.
- Parking:
- There is very little parking available at the College and is by prior arrangement only. With the very high parking charges in the city's multi-storey car parks we would suggest delegates use rail or coach services.
- Accommodation:
- The majority of the bedrooms in our allocation have en-suite facilities, the remaining rooms have use of a shared bathroom. The en-suite rooms will be allocated on a 'first come first served' basis from the bookings received at the Secretariat.
