ComputerBusinessReview claims (it’s news to me) that’s where the term “wiki” comes from – the Wikipedia (where else?) claims it’s a backronym – in an article about SocialText, a company working on Wiki–esque software, and their recent investment from SAP Ventures. Also of interest is the company’s recent recruitment of Jimmy Wales to their board of directors.
