Paul's background is a mixture of systems administration and software development.
He contributes to a variety of projects, including ELKS (a kernel and userspace for 8086-286 PC's) and the Fedora Project.
His interest in package management comes from interests as an administrator and a packager, working on projects such as JPackage. He took over the role of community maintainer for rpm-python in November 2003. Paul currently works for Red Hat.
