The UK Unix User Group is offering undergraduate and postgraduate students at London Universities' a *free* place at the UKUUG Winter Conference. The Conference is being held on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th February at the Institute of Physics

Speakers and topics include:

  • Josh Howlett talking about The Nomadic Network: a framework for Mobile and Wireless Computing
  • Eddie Bleasdale talking about Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds
  • Brad Knowles talking about MTA Performance
  • Lindsay Marshall talking on Unix, Mac OS. The Twain have met.

Students wishing to attend the conference should email office@ukuug.org with their name and institution. Student ID for that institution will be required at registration for the conference. Places are limited to 10 per institution and should be booked before 3pm on Monday.
