General

The 2004 LISA/Winter Conference with the theme 'High Availability and Reliability' will be held on Wednesday, 25 February and Thursday, 26 (all day) in Bournemouth. The full conference comprises two parts: a tutorial on the Wednesday morning, followed by the conference proper -- one and a half days of technical talks -- on the Wednesday afternoon and continued on the Thursday.

The tutorial is on High Availability Clusters and will be given by both Lars Marowsky-Bree (SUSE Labs) and Alan Robertson (IBM Linux Technology Centre). It will be held at The Queens Hotel.

We had a very good response to the CFP (closed 11 November) and this you will see in the strong programme; we have had to extend the event to accommodate all the talks we wanted.

The conference is being held at Lansdowne Campus of Bournemouth University.

Accommodation has been arranged in the nearby Queens Hotel, which is also the venue for the tutorial.

The price for the event (tutorial and conference, or just one part) has been kept low. There are further savings for early-bird bookings, available until 30 January 2004. The Booking Deadline is 18 February 2004.
