UKUUG is a not-for-profit organisation funded by membership
subscriptions for people who
want to keep abreast of everything that happens in the world
of Open Systems and is drawn from the information technology,
commercial, and research/academic sectors in fairly even proportions.

Membership Categories
and Fees

Institutional Members …

are commercial, research or academic institutions. They
may send their employees to both UKUUG technical meetings and
conferences at substantially discounted membership
rates.

£170.00 (£204.00 inc VAT) per year

Individual members …

tend to be employees of institutions who do not have a
institutional membership or individuals wishing to receive
their own personal copies of newsletters, announcements,
etc.

£35.00 (£42.00 inc VAT) per year

Concessionary members …

Membership for students, the retired and the unemployed. Proof of
status must be seen by the UKUUG Secretariat before membership is
accepted.

£20.00 (£24.00 inc VAT) per year

Sponsoring Members …

have been introduced to offer companies the opportunity to actively
support UKUUG’s events on a larger scale and make it easier for
UKUUG to further its aims and objectives.

The full costs of all types of UKUUG membership subscription are subject to Income tax relief
as UKUUG is registered under Section 344 of the Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act
with effect from 6th April 2006. Until the list of approved bodies is updated,
you should include reference to this letter with the
deduction.
